Kew Gardens

About Kew Gardens

A world-famous botanical garden on the banks of the Thames, and a brilliant day out with little ones. Toddlers love the Children's Garden — a huge, beautifully designed natural play space with water play, giant sand pits, trampolines and climbing frames (book a timed slot on arrival) — while the famously steamy Palm House, Waterlily House and Temperate House make for magical, jungle-like wanderings whatever the weather. Wide, mostly flat paths make it easy with prams, there are lawns and hidden corners for picnics or ball games, and the seasonal trails and holiday activities give you a reason to come back through the year.
